UNLedu 4.0 Web Framework
DESIGN – AND CONTENT
The move to version 4.0 was a significant shift in design – most notably extending to the full width of browsers – which meant a complete review of content was in order. In other words, the new design created opportunities to display content in engaging new ways, but it also threw down the gauntlet for content creators and curators. Well, the content folks have responded – with attractive new photos and new bands of copy leading users to academic programs and Admissions and Graduate Studies.
On one strong design template, academic colleges have shaped their web presence in a variety of ways. The common threads in overall structure and navigation make usability easier for key audiences, regardless of the device (mobile, tablet or desktop). The unique approach to their content reflects each college’s priorities.
