Husker Karaoke

In celebration of the University of Nebraska's 150th Homecoming Week, we want you to join in with Huskers from across the world in a rousing rendition of "Dear Old Nebraska U." Here's how you can join this virtual sing-along and be a part of Husker Karaoke:

Directions

  • Step 1: Play the video and refresh yourself on the lyrics and tune of "Dear Old Nebraska U." TIP: You won't be able to record on your phone while playing the video, so use your computer or someone else's phone to play the song while using your phone to record!
  • Step 2: Find a space to make your stage — whether that's your living room, outside, or at a local landmark.
  • Step 3: Invite others to join in! The more Huskers, the merrier.
  • Step 4: Flip your phone so it's horizontal to film, then press play on the "Dear Old Nebraska U" video and sing your heart out!
  • Step 5: Submit your video via the form at the bottom of this page.
  • Step 6: Wait and see if you are featured in our official music video! You can check it out on our UNLincoln social media pages.
