As part of the University Communications team and Office of the Chancellor, the Office of Special Events and Protocol designs, plans and manages University Chancellor events such as Commencement, Honors Convocation, New Student Convocation, State of the University address, groundbreaking and ribbon cutting ceremonies, Chancellor luncheons and dinners, and events for visiting dignitaries.
Additionally, they manage events housed in the Van Brunt Visitors Center for campus departments and organizations as well as external groups. The team is experienced and dedicated to assisting you throughout the planning and implementation of your event at the Visitors Center.
